Anemia continues to be a frequently encountered nutritional issue among adolescent females, including university students, largely driven by insufficient iron consumption and limited awareness of its risk factors and preventive measures. This health promotion initiative was carried out to broaden the anemia-related knowledge of female students at Universitas Lambung Mangkurat through the use of leaflet media. The approach combined a direct presentation of material with an interactive question-and-answer segment, while participant comprehension was assessed via pretest and posttest questionnaires distributed to 20 respondents. Prior to the educational session, the average pretest score stood at 86%, with the weakest areas being knowledge of anemia risk factors (50%) and understanding of anemia's definition (75%). Following the intervention, the average posttest score rose to 96%, marking an 11.63% gain. These findings suggest that pairing leaflet-based media with lecture and discussion techniques meaningfully strengthens students' grasp of anemia prevention. The initiative is anticipated to function as a preventive measure capable of lowering anemia rates among female students through ongoing improvements in health literacy.
